What are you waiting for?!

Its a once in a lifetime opportunity that a top notch football team is dropping by our shores.

Man Utd, Liverpool did "visited" us in 2001 but they were here for finanical reasons and to build up their fan base and I can assure you that the EPL gaints will be in Singapore again soon. But this is not the case with the samba kings, brazil.

They are here to prepare for the upcoming olympics held in china. When the next olympics in asia is held, wat makes u so certain that the 5 times world champions would make singapore their port to call on? Some of you might argue that $60 is too steep and you can catch a dozen s league games with it, but compare $60 with 100 over pounds per EPL game, or $4k SGD for euro 2008 final is peanuts.

There is a delay telecast slated for tuesday night but trust me, nothing beats experiencing the match atmosphere at the national stadium.

Do turn out in force to prevent the below scenario from happening again.. Singapore vs Australia, 22nd March 08

Belated 1st Post in 2008

Apologise that I have not updated the blog for the past 7 months. Was tied up with work. I will update this blog as frequent as possible from now on.. Starting from the mid season transfer in S-League.

The biggest transfer news in the July transfer window has to be the transfer to Khairul Amri from Young Lions to Tampines. Pretty surprised that he chose the eastern giants, Tampines, rather than to return to his "old" club, home united. Especially since HU are still in the AFC cup and has a more realistic chance of winning the title this season.

In my opinion, I believe the hotest property in Singapore soccer now should go for trials in japan, korea and even european leagues like swedish/danish/latvian/slovakian leagues. Its only through playing against high quality opponents that his game will improve. Hopefully, Raddy can provide a lobang or two for Khairul.
